If it is true that an ABC exec. told John Ritter that he'd renew TAC for 13 episodes, would you have jumped on the chance? I would! But he didn't. He said "I'm to young for this."

Three's a Crowd was suppose to be back for a 2nd Season, but ABC opted to pick up the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes from NBC. I personally would have liked DS to be on NBC only, DS didn't even get a finale. Anyway, Three's a Crowd should have lasted more then 1 season.

It would have been nice to see another season to see if the show could have found its legs. According to the "Come and Knock on Our Door" book, Jack and Vicky would have gotten married during the second season, and Vicky would have given up her flight attendant job to become a weathergirl!

That should be old, not new.

Well, if you've seen teh last season of DS, it's alot different then the NBC way...it's in fact alot better, although Mary Ann Mobly wsn't as good as Dixie Carter. Three's A Crowd wouldn't have lasted another season.
