The very first Ghost Whisperer computer video game, to be titled "Ghost Whisperer: Shadowlands," will be available in early 2010 and be developed by casual games developer and publisher Legacy Interactive.
As I've teased in my intro, the game will allow players to step into the role of Melinda to help, thanks to her gift of seeing and hearing ghosts, earthbound spirits cross over after having taken care of unfinished business. The storyline will take place in Grandview and the show's characters will be there to help Melinda during her quest.
The game will combine light adventure and hidden object-style game play. Players will need to visit different places and collect various items to solve the five stories feature in the computer game.
What the press release we've received from Legacy Interactive doesn't say is when in the Ghost Whisperer time line this game will fit. It says that Melinda will try to help the ghosts "while trying to live as normal a life as possible with her paramedic husband, Jim."
