Because I am still having virtually no success in stimulating any conversation, I may as well, attempt yet another "Sesame Street" tie-in! This time, my most recent thread on this page has seven views and zero responses. The "Sesame Street" routine that this reminds me of is one with the mad painter. Now I know that some of you guys are fans of the "Jeffersons". Well, you might be interested in knowing that the man who played the painter is the same actor who played Mr. Bentley on that series. In any event, I remember a time when he was holding a paint brush in one hand and a cardboard seven in the other. He was standing in front of an elevator in a highrise building. As the doors would open, he would paint the number of the day on whatever the people inside were wearing or carrying. I seem to remember a briefcase and a kite being two of the things that he painted. After a few people came and went, there was a man wearing a football jersey that already had a seven on it! When he saw this, he got into the elevator with the man and road down with him. As the doors were closing, he said "seven" and the camera moved to the next skit!
