One thing that I will have to admit is that I am terrible about watching the news or reading the paper! That and my compulsive need to come here as often as I do is all part of my disability. No, I am not asking you to feel sorry for me! In any event, on the page that I have to go through to get to this one, there is occasionally a news article that will spark my interest. Sometimes, I read it in hopes that it will give me some ideas for new threads to start on this very board! Well, shortly before I came here, I read such an article! It had to do with the government of Equador sueing an American oil company. It did not give all of the details of the situation, but, from what I gathered, it has something to do with polluting the Amazon. Well, I would say that this, in two ways pertains to the third-season episode known as "Samantha's Protest". Both cases have to do with over-capitalism and putting business before the environment. On top of this, that episode had to do with the building of a Mexican restaurant. This being the case, both situations have to do with Latan American. I just thought that I would share!
