sbeamish 07-19-2009, 10:33 AM I guess a lot of people wouldn't call it "classic," and it didn't run 2 seasons, but now that I have my BIG want, I guess my next choice would be:
THE DOUBLE LIFE OF HENRY PHYFE.
TV_Fan 07-19-2009, 04:42 PM Would like to also see:
Topper
The Bob Cummings Show (Love That Bob)
Scoobiedoo30 07-19-2009, 05:45 PM Amen and The Hogan Family

Love and agree with your list but a giant omission is "NANNY & THE PROFESSOR"....we need this one too!
Dusty's Fan 07-20-2009, 10:37 AM The Morey Amsterdam Show (DuMont) would be a good choice. I don't know much about it though, other than the fact that Art Carney was in it as well and reportedly there are enough surviving episiodes to make DVD release feasible.

never heard of it.
treky 07-22-2009, 02:59 AM Would like to also see:
Topper
The Bob Cummings Show (Love That Bob)
Public domain episodes of "THE BOB CUMMINGS SHOW" are on DVD. And an episode of it is on "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES AND PETTICOAT JUNCTION ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION" DVD.
treky 07-22-2009, 03:09 AM besides all those already mentioned, I'd also like to see
MAVERICK
BRET MAVERICK
THE BIG VALLEY (with "BONANZA" on DVD, you'd think someone would realease it)
THE RIFLEMAN (MPI released some episodes once in a "best of" set, but it's been discontinued)
WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE
RAWHIDE
BURNS AND ALLEN
DECEMBER BRIDE
DRAGNET (both the 50s and 60s versions)
the rest of "THE FUGITIVE" (the great 60s version-and not botch it up like they did with season 2!!!   )
TV_Fan 07-22-2009, 01:43 PM Public domain episodes of "THE BOB CUMMINGS SHOW" are on DVD. And an episode of it is on "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES AND PETTICOAT JUNCTION ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION" DVD.
The public domain eps are actually how I first saw Bob Cummings Show. I would like to see official season releases.
I also have the 9 episode PD Platinum set of Topper, which is also how I discovered that great show. However, I would like to see an official release of all episodes, which shouldn't be too hard since there were only two seasons.
ShaNaNaFanatic 08-16-2009, 10:48 PM OK I'm a real newb here and thought I'd jump in. Hope this is the correct place. I'd REALLY like the variety show Sha Na Na on DVD. I know many many fans who are more than willing to buy the entire set '79 - '82 appx 197 episodes on DVD. We all LOVED those boys. Such talent. 3 of the members have passed away. David "Chico" Allen Ryan , Danny "Dirty Dan" McBride, and Vinnie Taylor but the rest are all still alive and very active. So that is my vote ;)

I saw an episode of rhis show online a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I'd like to see "The Morey Amsterdam Show" get a DVD release.

I can't even begin to fathom the amount of music clearance issues there would be with this series! That being said I would love to see it come out on DVD since I love 60's music.
howierules86 08-25-2009, 06:23 AM My vote for favorite sitcom that should be released on DVD soon: Head of the Class.
comedyfreak 08-28-2009, 08:26 AM The Courtship Of Eddie's Father
Chico And The Man -The Episode Favorites is not enough!
Fish
Pete And Gladys
William Hogan Jr 08-30-2009, 03:51 PM The Jack Benny Program has not had an official release yet. Only the public domain episodes have been released. Mill Creek has had the most episodes released so far.
RogueDK 09-10-2009, 01:03 PM Tenspeed And Brownshoe
I really loved watching this show as a kid.
G Vs. E
It's criminal how this show was handled on network tv. Now I want the complete series on disc.
bencasey 09-20-2009, 11:16 PM What part of sitcoms in the OP didn't many of you people understand?
