hey decided it may be interesting to start a section that compares the original composites with the convicted criminals thread. I will start it off with one and hopefully others would like to put some up as well.

This is David Rademaker who was convicted of murdering Kimberly Pandelios

here is the composite shown on unsolved mysteries

not too similar of look

come on guys if we can all do one i think this thread will be very interesting

Someone should really do Walter Ogrod vs. composite. I would, but I no longer have the software for screen grabs.

The pics you posted are just coming up as red x's for me, conservativejoe.

I went to the UM site where the Pandelios case is featured (it's in the Solved section) but since they got the bad guy, they are showing Rademaker's photo and don't have a pic of the sketch available on the site....

I can see the pics today.

The sketch almost looks like a woman, to me. It's probably the eyebrows, they look feminine, and the lips look female and too perfectly defined. Not much really looks like the actual perp. I think they just got the general description right, small mouth/dark eyes, but that's about it.

After I saw Charlize Theron in "Monster" I always thought the composite looked like her portrayal of Aileen Wournos.

I don't have the capability to screen grab either (I can see your pics though, joe), but I always thought the artist's rendering of Harold and Thelma Swain's killer, Dennis Perry, looked very much like his booking picture--more than those Identi-Kit composites for sure.

I agree with others it does look like Charlize Theron in Monster.

Oh my. That composite pic will make me jump out of my skin every time I see. It's the stuff nightmares are made of.

Parent doesn't look a thing like the composite...its amazing to me that people are ever caught with those things, although obviously some are better than others.

I thought Jeanie Boylon (apologize about the spelling) was incredible with her composite drawings, which seemed to be very accurate.

But as to the first composite in the thread, wasn't that supposed to be one of three hillbilly type guys? The eyewitness said that three guys ran up to him that were all unkempt and he saw them with the girl, yet another guy was charged- what happened to the other two guys? Or was the eyewitness mistaken and the strange men had nothing to do with anything wrong? Maybe that's why the composite is so off.

I'm glad I didn't see the "Sam" composite when I was a child, I would have had nightmares!

I was an adult when I first saw it and I still have nightmares.
