This deserved more success, although it gradually slid downhill during its second and third seasons (Parker gets a new girlfriend, Parker gets a new mom, Parker can lose, etc). The first season is a classic, though. And Melanie Chartoff, who played the principal, is one of the funniest actresses I've ever seen. I loved the running gag where her office window broke every episode. There was one show where she slammed the door, and the glass DIDN'T shatter. She noticed this, gave the window an evil glare, and it shattered. Way too funny.
