Jim Caviezel -- the dude who played Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ" -- was injured yesterday in Washington after cops say a man threw a bicycle into the path of Jim's Harley-Davidson.

Cops say Jim -- who was wearing a helmet -- suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to the Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth.

A Washington State Patrol officer said bike chucker probably has mental issues.

The bike thrower had "mental issues"? You THINK?? :rolleyes: Anyway, glad to hear that Jim doesn't seem to be seriously injured, and thank goodness he was wearing a helmet!!

How embarrassing that crap like this happens in MY state! I didn't even know the guy was in Passion of the Christ or that he lived in Washington State, though. That's pretty cool. I've been to Leavenworth before. If any of you ever get to visit our state, Leavenworth is worth a visit. No prison in THIS Leavenworth, but instead you'll find a cute German-themed town. Even the McDonald's is Bravarian!
