Yup, he was born April 10, 1915!

Always have liked Harry Morgan. He was funny with his lunchbox on Dragnet - so skinny but always had lots of food in his lunchbox.

Harry Morgan is one of the finest character actors to ever grace the small screen. You're right about the lunchbox which was actually a fishing tackle box. In one episode, Joe asked him why he used a tackle box and from the expression on his face afterward, He probably wished he hadn't because Bill went over that box with a fine-toothed comb explaining what each compartment was for and what was in it.

That's actually the ep I had in mind when I posted too!! I've since seen a couple of outtakes from that scene and they're a riot - either Joe or him could keep a straight face. To this day, whenever I see a tackle box, I think of his lunchbox!
I stole the idea and used my dad's old box for my makeup. I should have patented the idea cuz now they have makeup cases that are basically dressed up tackle boxes that sell for big $$$s!!

Harry Morgan was great on Dragnet, God chemistry with Jack Webb.

Morgan definitely added a certain magic to M*A*S*H, and helped refresh the stories in the later years.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing Harry Morgan in State Fair.
But I didn't make the connection when they showed it in the episode. What's funny is, when they showed the State Fair clip, everybody booed because it wasn't what they wanted to see (they wanted some smut).

But it's funny that they had everyone booing the movie Harry Morgan was in.
