For the last 8 and a half hours my page hasn't loaded. I was babysitting my cousin at their house and I used their computer to log on, and my page was perfectly fine all day, on all the times I went on. The last time I was on, then eventually logged off to go home was around 3-3:30 pm on this Wednesday. I got home at around 4, and tried multiple times from then until now, and it's 12 AM the next morning. It doesn't freeze or anything. On my Netscape Navigator tab, it says "Facebook,- Home" like it normally does when I automatically sign in when I log on and go onto the site each day, but it doesn't load or anything more. I googled a part of the text at the bottom of the screen and I don't know what seems to be the problem. Usually when a web site loads, their is actiong going on at the bottom of the browser screen, with different commands etc. Here is what it said/I am talking about

"static.ak.fbcdn.net"- minus the two quotes at the end

I googled the search "facebook static.ak.fbcdn.net" to see what it was, and from searches, some people say their is spyware on the computer, and I also have read that static.ak.fbcdn.net is a phishing program, for fake sites for people to get into your page. I only have this problem with Facebook. I downloaded a torrent tonight, and I am running a AVG full computer scan as we speak. I seriously don't know how this happened, and or what may have happened, from 3 to 4 this afternoon, or what activities have lead to this happening. I am nervous about that phishing crap. Can somebody please help me? Rob perhaps. Thanks a bunch.

Nah I don't know. I don't think it is Aaron. All other sites work. Thanks for helping though.

that happened to me last month. Facebook would just not load for an entire day.
it's probably just a glitch. it will be fixed after a while.

it may just have been corrupted cache - sometimes cleaning out your temp files and rebooting can work wonders

I agree with Rob, sometimes clearing the cookies and cache, restarting, etc... just cleaning out... works wonders!
