Best Buy released "Route 66: The Complete Third Season" this week. It's only at Best Buy. It won't be released in general until January of 2010. So, I went there and bought it. When I got home and popped the last disc in the player (I put the last one in first, anxious to see what the new character was like) and the DVD didn't play at all.

It's still split up into Volume One and Volume Two. The Volume Two half doesn't play at all. But the Volume One half is fine. So I went online to see if anyone else had this problem, and sure enough they do.

So pretty much I paid for the complete third season and ended up with Season Three, Volume One and a bunch of blank discs.

now I am glad I couldn't find it at the two Best Buys that I checked. I used my $25 BB Gift Card for Reaper season 2 instead. I will wait until January for the general retail release and hope this issue has been resolved by then.
