This site is what keeps me from being bored with the internet.

Some sites bore me and some sites hold my interest. This is one of the ones that hold my interest.

I myself don't ever get bored with the internet.. between youtube, myspace, facebook, hulu, SO, and the other two message boards I go to, there isn't enough time in the day to keep up with it all. :eek: :)

:lol: :lol: Yeah, I'm so out of it, teenagers could be polar bears as far as my connection to their habits these days. The gap between adults and teens seems to be growing wider and wider as time goes on, that's for sure. It's like everything is almost instantly 'unhip'; the shelf life of "cool" is getting shorter and shorter, i.e. "oh that was SOOO eight thirty this morning..."

I know honestly...what happened? :grr: It wasn't that long ago, why did younger people suddenly just stop registering? I used to have so much fun raising hell on random message boards. Don't see why people not much younger than us would feel any different.

2003 was my favorite year on SO too. There is something about being a newbie that is great and yea meeting everybody for the first time...all the random threads I posted in. I remember getting exciting everytime I got 100 more posts. I would even post about it. Those were the days. :lol:

2003-04 were my fav SO years, for the reasons previously stated. Yeah we need some more young teens/tweens to mess with and make parody threads of their threads and etc, and threads about toilet water and such LOL.

I do get bored online sometimes. But lately I have been listening to music at playlist.com and last.fm. I wish I would have joined SO sooner. I do hope this site is around for years to come. Maybe more people will join here because other sites like Television Without Pity and tv.com are sometimes really strict on their boards.

I'm not so much bored with it, I just don't have enough free time to browse it.

I have to admit I would like to see some older people register here and post. Maybe we could get some of the old TV threads up and running that way.

Yeah, I've heard alot about the infamous nights over at the Random Board. lol! Unfortunately I've never been to the random board, so I missed out on all the fun.

I think a lot of the reason younger people don't really register here anymore is because the boards have become more strict.

No, just in general. There is less of a tolerance for certain things. I'm not necessarily complaining, but you did used to be able to get away with a lot more. I think that's what attracted younger kids to the board...it was fun to mess around. The community of the place is what kept them here. Now I think there's less of an attraction towards younger kids for a place like this.

Haha we agreed that they're crazy...evil not so much. I think it'd add a fun life to the place if more were around. You should've seen the place in 2003ish...me and the other kids my age were nuts. :lol:

Yeah, I agree. A mix of all is always good. But, a lot of the teens here have been here since they were very young. I'm talking between the ages of 11-13. I think the youngest age here now is maybe 16.

You're probably right. Six or seven years ago threads could rage on for pages and pages before they were locked. (Not that I was here that long ago but I've read back.) However, I do think there was some need for tighter moderation, which Janice has done an excellent job with. Most fights I've seen nowadays seem to get nipped in the bud early on and are not allowed to become a major problem.

Like many people, I do enjoy reading the old threads though.
