Yes I did, it was said in the Come and Knock On Our Door book that she was very quickly replaced by Joyce. ABC actually felt bad for Valerie, so they kept her on a "list", so when they thought that she was right for a certain show, they would cast her. 9 to 5 was the show that she would go onto, but because of a run, she did not in fact act in all of the episodes, in fact ABC took her off of the show in mid-2nd season, and that's when the series was cancelled. Then, when it went into syndication in 1986, the whole plot of the show had changed, there was no Mr. Hart, and they brought in strange characters, that no one had heard of from the 1980 hit film. Valerie was then put back into the now syndicated series, which would as it's ABC run, die out, and cancel the rest of what could be an imaginative series.
