did anyone see susan richardson's appearances last year on the talk show circuit ? she is certifiable wacko. p.s. i knew her quite well back then in the 70s. everything she did back then to her " loved ones " , well,let's just say what goes around came back around big time for her !

She does seem nuts. She has battled with drugs. Willie Aames, Lani O'Grady, and
Adam Rich have also had drug problems.

So did Betty Buckley, supposedly, although it didn't affect her work on the set.

Susan is definitely a few fries short of a happy meal.... I think the show should have been called Eight is a (Dysfunctional family)

Mod! If you're still around tell us folks about what Susan did. I never met her. My observation of her is she's really gone.......... :eek: Which is sad because she had the world in her hands. I'll be honest with you I thought she would leave this world before poor Lani O'Grady did. :(

When I was a kid, I used to have this huge crush on Susan...along with Elizabeth. Susan was to me sensative, spirited and pretty...very pretty.

However, that love affair in my youth was shattered when I saw how horrible her life had turned out.

Its a shame when you see these people have real lives outside the boob-tube. Everything isn't as 'nice and pretty' as their characters..

I really feel for the lady, she does sound well as a women with many issues. I hope she is doing well or at least a little better... Its all very sad...I'm really sad for her...she sounds like she's just well not well off..I'm trying not to use the words, unballanced..but well..you know.

I saw on Entertainment Tonight(or Extra,I forget which show) a few years ago that she thinks shes the messiah! I feel sorry for her, I think she's still on drugs! Why can't somebody on the show try to help her like the dad! I know that Willie Aames is a born again christian, he should have a talk with her or something!

My understanding is that Ms. Richardson had a stroke a few years ago, from which she has had some difficulty recovering. Has anyone heard anything from or about her recently? On another board, she posted her e-mail address several years ago, but it is no longer current. Does anyone have any more recent contact information?
