View Full Version : Virginia Madsen/Keely Shaye Smith tiddlywinks950 07-13-2009, 02:32 PM Hey does anybody know where I can find episodes featuring these two? justins5256 07-13-2009, 02:43 PM You would probably have to find someone who taped the broadcasts when they first aired. I don't believe the Virginia Madsen episodes were ever shown in syndication. They were, but they were re-narrated by Robert Stack. Some (most?) of the Keely Shay Smith segments were shown on Lifetime. They might be easier to find. But again, you'll have to find someone who taped them as I don't think any of this stuff was ever released on DVD. crystaldawn 07-13-2009, 04:15 PM Hey does anybody know where I can find episodes featuring these two? Hopefully they've all been destroyed..... tiddlywinks950 07-13-2009, 04:21 PM Hopefully they've all been destroyed..... Hahahahaha nice =) I was just curious.....even not so nice parts of history are sometimes worth looking at crystaldawn 07-13-2009, 05:12 PM Hahahahaha nice =) I was just curious.....even not so nice parts of history are sometimes worth looking at Yes although I didn't like Madsen "helping" Robert Stack she does have a nice voice. Its really annoying however when Keely referred to him as "Bob"... tiddlywinks950 07-13-2009, 06:01 PM I know right?! I heard nancy reagan call him Bob, but thats ok because they were bffs (sorry to use that term lol, just trying to be humourous). keely, not so much. DP1 07-13-2009, 11:39 PM I think Madsen and Shaye are nice to look at period. justins5256 07-14-2009, 08:42 PM Virgina Madsen brought "sexy" to UM. Otherwise, she didn't do much. I always thought her delivery on the program was icy cold, but yeah I'd do her. :) crystaldawn 07-15-2009, 09:01 AM Virgina Madsen brought "sexy" to UM. Otherwise, she didn't do much. I always thought her delivery on the program was icy cold, but yeah I'd do her. :) Yes we know how much you like those older women....;) She'll soon turn 48 btw and is currently doing Botox commercials. Along the lines of 6 degrees of separation I was reading that she had a relationship with Antonio Sabato Jr. and had a child with him. Antonio Sabato Jr. played John Hawkins in the movie concerning the murder of Ellis Henry Green where Dr. Richard Boggs was convicted. This case was profiled on UM. I also found out (if anyone is interested) that there's a book about the case titled "Insured for Murder". ididn'tdoit 07-15-2009, 11:49 AM Virgina Madsen brought "sexy" to UM. Otherwise, she didn't do much. I always thought her delivery on the program was icy cold, but yeah I'd do her. :) I'm pretty sure we can all agree that it was Robert who brought sexy to UM ;) Kane 07-15-2009, 01:15 PM There was a third female co-host briefly. I have her in tape somewhere and i thought she was better than both Madsen and Smith. It should be noted that, contrary to misconception, Keely Shaye Smith was never a co-host. She was only an update correspondent, ditto the other woman you described (although I don't remember her name). There is generally a difference between correspondent and (co-)host. UMfan77 07-15-2009, 02:57 PM There was a third female co-host briefly. I have her in tape somewhere and i thought she was better than both Madsen and Smith. She seemed to fit the show's mood well and got to the point. She was brunette with an italian last name, sorry for sketchy details. Oh yeah, I know who you're talking about but can't remember her name either. I also have her on tape somewhere. tiddlywinks950 05-24-2010, 10:54 PM I'm so sorry to drag this back up again. but i couldnt resist. the other woman was Lu Hanessian. The reason why I remember her name was because it had ian at the end of it, and i thought it was an armenian name. my dad is armenian, so those sort of things stand out. even after almost a year, i have yet to see a virginia madsen episode :) sdb4884 05-25-2010, 02:07 AM I loved these two but Stack needed no help :) cocytus 12-04-2010, 11:29 PM I loved these two but Stack needed no help :) I liked Robert Stack, but the ratings at that time tell a different story. nicoge21 12-05-2010, 12:13 AM the only time I saw KSS was on the mid-90's episodes during updates from the telecenter |
