This will be hard to explain.

Some SO members are known for specific things associated them- trademarks, if you will.

For example:

When LifeAdjuster posts, you can usually find an LOL in his posts.

isiahthomas' posts always have a "hahahahahahahahahahaha" in them

brownie87's posts are always in blue font

Can you think of other things that are associated with members on here?

Uses the sunglasses guy for all posts. Another member indents all posts at
the end of the line in the text box. That's all I can think of now. Have fun
guessing who I'm referring to.

I'm pretty much known for my use of exclamation points. I use them in almost every post that I post in. Not even sure why I do it, it's just a habit. I use them alot in expressing my emotions so that people will know that I'm passionate about what I'm saying.

I'm also kind of known for starting threads where I ask for people's advice, or for their opinions. I'm very inquisitive, and I could easily just go onto a search engine for advice, but I've noticed that some of the best advice I receive comes from SO members, and I'd rather get your guys' thoughts and opinions than some strangers.

TJL always has the ;) thing going on.

I notice that Mike, (Shine) uses the smiley face alot to cheer people up.

Me too - I could never sign up with an alias because of my exclamation marks! I do it in my regular writing too and have to watch it when it's a business letter. :lol:

Well Monika almost always has a "Bewitched" related avatar! Some people have had the same avatars for a long time. Me, I like to change mine every so often, just because I get tired of looking at the same one. However, having the same one helps, because a lot of times I don't even need to look at the person's "name" to know who it is! :)

As for myself, I try to add my name to my posts. Not sure why, just habit. I also try to use some of the smiley's. :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

:lol: I've gotten that before as well from other members. I remember when I first saw the picture I thought it was such a good picture of Nancy. It still is-it's probably my favorite picture of her.

I dont think I have a trademark either.

I usually use something John Larroquette related but seeing as he's not doing any interesting projects at the moment, I've clung to other interests. I recently bought the Hannah Montana 3 soundtrack, so I'm using her as an avatar. :P
