In "Darryl's Background Story!" I posted like 20 posts begging for replies to my story. I came off as annoying and whiney. I was going through low self-esteem at that time, if you couldn't tell:crazy: I reread that thread this year, and CRINGED at my posts begging for replies. We don't have a 'cringe" smiley, so I will post this one as the closest one. :eek:

I used to be different people on SO. Now, I am embarrased. Once again, low self-esteem again. :blush: I quit the multiple personalities a while ago, and am not going to use them again......... ::blush:

I joined S.O. in 2002 but didn't start posting regularly on the message boards until one year ago. So I'm embarrassed it took me six years to realize what a great community this is and how special each and every one of you are! But I'm making up for lost time. I've made over 3100 posts in the last year!

:lol: Same here. I was a lot younger when I signed up and sometimes when I read my old posts, I just think "Why the heck was I talking like that?!" I said a lot of stuff that would annoy me now, but like you said...it was all done in fun.

I'm embarrassed I once thought Everybody Loves Raymond and South Park were good shows ;)

There used to be a member here whose name was Holly (pandora_spock) and she had a HUGE obsession with Liz Montgomery. Like... Seriously. It was creepy. Just ask anyone who was here in 2003 when she was here, and they can tell you about how bad it was. As for you, it's not bad at all. Hey, it's awesome you dig her. But you don't fit her into every single post or think she's still alive or have a shrine to her in your bedroom or publicly voice the fact you want to bed her SO FREAKING BAD in EVERY post.

(SO had a LOT of crazies here in 2003 and 2004... Holy crap)

I'm embarassed and ashamed of some of the posts I made last summer both here and on other message boards.

None that I can think of. Maybe a few think of a few outbursts I had on the Politics Board a while back will disagree with that, but I have a very low tolerance for outright, or insinuated, personal politically motivated attacks, which I feel are designed to inflame controversy with angry back and forth stuff. I was defending my point of view. I don't regret anything I said.

oh, you have nothing to worry about. the member allison just mentioned totally comes to mind. she stormed off of this site forever after someone made fun of her on livejournal (she lived on drama) and told us that she was going to go slit her wrists so she can be further away from this board and closer to liz. :rofl: ****ing dumb bitch, it's no wonder she had all those offline emotional problems that she was always bawwwwwwwing about.

ps. i didn't make fun of her for all that right away, it was just after she did to me what she always whined and cried about everyone else doing to her that i decided she was just a whiny bitch and an attention whore.

I thought that was freaking hilarious myself as well. I tried to join the bewitchedfans community on LJ (she runs that community) and actually got in with no problems because, hey, I dig Bewitched too. But then after a while I was banned from posting for the sole reason that she doesn't like me. :crazy: :rofl: So I created another Bewitched community, but deleted that one after a while. And I guess she took me off the banned list, because I just joined bewitchedfans with no problems.

She was... special. That's for sure. So, Mickey, you have NOTHING to be embarrassed about. :)

Iv'e gone through phases here at S.O., but none of them were embarrassing. I went from having very few friends for years, being very shy, and posting very seldomly, to having a ton of friends, being open, and posting everyday. For me the phases have all been positive ones.
