I read about their financial situation in a tribute magazine about Michael i bought at the grocery store. Jackie is managing his son who is a rapper and he had a clothing business online that went outta business. Tito manages jazz and blues artists that are playing at small venues and he's not making a lot of money from that. Jermaine owes millions for a house he used to live in because i guess he couldn't pay the mortgage. So now he's living with his parents. Marlon was living in a hotel and working at a grocery store stocking the shelves with food. Randy does odd jobs and fixes cars. This is so sad to hear about this. I can't believe they are living like this when they made lots of money as a singing group. What did they do with their money? When i hear about stuff like this, it doesn't surprise me because it seems to happen to a lot of entertainers because they don't know how to spend and save their money wisely. I think Jermaine isn't the only brother who lives with his parents. The article mentioned that a few of the brothers live with their parents but Jermaine was the only one they said by name. There is no way that as old as they are, they should be living with their parents.

Also to add is they all made records but they were nowhere near as successful as Michael's.

So what. What does that have to do with their financial situation? Everybody knows Michael had the most talent in the group but that has nothing to do with them struggling financially. They should've taken better care of their money when they were singing.

I agree there was probably a lot of mismanagement with their money and who knows maybe Joe Jackson cheated them out of money.

This is all news to me. I saw that book, but I didn't purchase it. There is no way that the Jacksons should be living like that, not after all those #1 hits they had. But, they probably signed a shysty record label deal that they didn't read the fine print like New Edition.

I have to agree. If they'd spent/invested their money wisely and gone over the contracts completely before signing, they could've saved themselves a whole lot of trouble.

I am beginning to think that maybe they might have been better off if they all stayed in Gary.
