Firstly, I've been to Six Flags against my will a number of times...let's just say I would much rather do what all those other people are doing before the old dude pops up. You know, the stuff that's supposedly "one flag". What other ads out there bug the crap out of you?

I also hate the ones with that Barry Bostwick dude, "I looooove the sound of my voice." Funny thing is, I used to think he was funny on "Spin City", now I just find him annoying. That Free Credit geek makes me want to punch the TV screen. And how about the eternally PMSing mom from the "Roll-Over Minutes" commercials???

the first 2 were funny - the pirate restaurant and junky car rap one - but now they're just lame.

I define an annoying commercial as one endorsing a product I don't use or have no need for.

For me, that would be the FreeCreditReport commercial- not because I can't stand the guy, but because I don't need it, use it, or understand how it works.

Free Credit Report is useless. They will give you your credit report, but you have to join their little group to get it. The government will give you your credit report for free once a year. :rolleyes: The sad thing is, know one knows or cares. All anyone can remember is the singing pirate...

The freecreditreport commercials have always been annoying. I have noticed that in the past couple of months commercials for diabetes supplies and cathethers aren't on tv too much.

Anybody see those Miller commercials with the delivery guy who is pushing his way through to deliver the beer and is constantly running his mouth? They are not only annoying but I find them somewhat offensive. It gives the idea that overweight black men are pushy, loud and obnoxious. Something that is absolutly untrue.

A lot of people seem to be hating on the Progressive commercials. While I agree with it, they are not the only insurance commercials that are annoying. Geico's commercials with the stack of money watching people is totally stupid and annoying and is starting to get on my last nerve as well. Also, Cure auto insurance with the talking dot (seen mostly on my local sports channels) is obnoxious and even utters the f-word in one of them (albeit bleeped). No offense, but I actually kinda' like those ads because he says some pretty funny stuff. And he's trying to get everyone to hang with each other rather than exclude into groups/cliques. But, I understand what you're saying. However, I can't stand all those Fiber One ads. "No, there's no fiber in this!" I feel like that guy is finally going to pop and say, "YES!!! THERE IS FIBER IN THAT!!! BELIEVE ME, AFTER EATING A DOZEN OF THOSE THINGS YOU AREN'T GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET UP OFF THE TOILET FOR DAYS!!! SO, SHUT YOUR TRAP AND GET OUTTA' MY FACE ALREADY!!!" And I am also hating these gum ads which make it seem as though you will be transported into a whole new dimension, or become a better version of yourself if you chew a certain brand of gum. And all these yogurt commercials. Especially the newer one with the whipped husband talking to his buddy on the phone about all the stuff he's eating. It's almost the other one with the wife talking to her friend on the phone in reverse, but he's still the brainless baffoon and she's the superior being. I guess if they had him turn to her and ask, "Honey, what are you doing?" and they show her looking stumped, the folks at NOW might pounce all over it saying "This could be a potential domestic violence moment, so this ad must be yanked!" Sorry, I went off there, but I just get so sick of all these "smart women/stupid men" commercials and movies all the time. Not that I think women are stupid or anything, but I think we should see people - men and women - being depicted as equally smart, or equally stupid in that vain.

These damn Ritz commercials, most notable the one where everyone's playing "Jenga" with the Ritz crackers. Then these hair care commercials. The Neosporan ad with the moms in the park and one of the kids falls on his *beep* and does that horrible staged scream. The new Febreze ad with the guy having two girls visiting him in his room. This one is really weird actually considering the mom seems okay with her young son allowing a couple of girls to spend time with him in his room. Apparently she has no problem with her son being a pimp-in-training, but his room smells bad and she goes bezerk! Whatever!

Where I live in CT, we also have to put up with the Mohegan Sun commercials with the song and dance numbers detailing how great the hotel rooms are. These are getting on my last nerve. :mad: I always change the channel whenever they are on.

I don't know about anyone else, but I for one can't stand all these stupid resort commercials! Like the ones for Sandals and Beaches especially. I hate that stupid "Peeeerfeeeect Daaaayyyyy" crap!! And, especially now with Patrick Swayze no longer being with us, the way they took a perfectly amazing '80s song from a pretty good classic movie ("I've Had the Time of my Life") and actually played it out, even though it's different people singing it this time. But all that aside, they make these resort places seem like heaven on earth. In actuality, they are BORING!!! And, especially on cruises, they always have some kind of itinerary that everyone is expected to follow. Believe me, I know this firsthand because I went to a few resorts in my time, and they SUCKED!!! The only one I really ever loved and enjoyed was Atlantis.

And I hate that commercial where the mom sprays the mirror with the electric toothbrush she's using to brush her teeth and the mirror is caked with splats of used toothpaste (and perhaps teeth residue) and she even gets some crap on her kid's face! What's gross is that they actually linger on the mirror where the toothpaste and saliva is at the beginning of the ad! YUCK!!!!

And there's this "Little Bear" toothpaste commercial that's been running for about ten to twenty years now, with that annoying little kid with the squeaky voice and who's barely old enough to talk. "LITTLE BEAR!!!!" Can't stand that kid!!

And, lastly, how about this latest "Purple Kangaroo" commercial with all the ladies waiting online to get into the ladies' room, not to actually "do their business" apparently, as it turns out, but to FIX THEIR FREAKING HAIR!!!!! I hate that ad and I hate that big purple kangaroo!!

I think the Progressive lady is the most annoying human being on the planet! If I ever saw her, I'd run! And I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am soooo sick of all these weight loss commercials. And I also hate yogurt commercials, because I hate yogurt. And the "GO BEEF!" commercials. And the Finally Fast commercials that always come on VH1 Classic. However, I do not mind seeing the Beatles: Rock Band commercials, because I looooove The Beatles! But I hate the Wii commercials. And any cellphone commercials.
