Cloris Leachman will host (along with Robert Osborne) a marathon of her favorite classic movies on July 22 on Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

**Leachman's film picks begin with Waterloo Bridge (1940), which she loves for the performance of Vivien Leigh:"Such truth, such insight into herself and such intelligence...Her eyes could break your heart." Leachman enjoys the color and excitement of the Errol Flynn swashbuckler The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), and she surprises Osbourne with a refreshing reason for choosing The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957). Because she was raising her children at the time, she never caught the film, and "this is a good way for me to get to see it!"

I think that Cloris will make a great guest programmer. Even at over 80 years of age, she is still so full of life. Also, The Bridge on the River Kwai is a great anti-war movie.
