I actually have two. I started to get to know them both around the same time, and I think they're both pretty dame awesome. One of them is Jude The Obscure, and the other is Doodyville, or as I know her now, Joni. Both are awesome people who I actually started to get to know better through Facebook. I don't know why, but our paths just never seemed to cross here on S.O. but since becoming Facebook friends, Jude and Joni have become two of my really good friends. I've chatted with both of them, and found out that Joni is a huge sports fan like myself which is awesome, and with Jude I've found that we have alot in common including a strong Faith. He even knew who Keith Green was, and hardly anyone I know ever knows who he is. lol! Anyway, they are both awesome people, and I'm grateful that I became friends with both of them. So anyway, who is the most recent friend you made on SO, and how did you start to get to know each other?

My three newest friends here are also three of my best friends here. That would be Billie, Kimberlee and Chatty Mattie. I've known Billie for a while from posting on the FOL board and the FOL fanfic board, but we really didn't become close until recently. Billie was born in 1976, just as I was, and I think when two people are so close in age, there is often going to be some sort of bond. We are also both Democrats and religious and share many of the same views on things.

I knew of Kimberlee for a quite a while before I really got to know her. I think what first brought her to my attention is how she spells her name Kimberlee instead of the more common Kimberly. I thought that was interesting. I didn't really become friends with her until a couple of month ago. She reminds me a great deal of myself. Unlike Billie though, Kim and I have not yet had the chance to chat on the phone.

I met Mattie when I came back from Lent. She joined the boards when I was gone. Mattie is simply a really sweet girl. She is also really perky and has a truly positive vibe about her. She tries to be the best person and best friend that she can possibly be.

Mattie is a new, good friend of mine as well ^....

I also consider her as a little sister figuratively :lol:

I'm glad you like that pic I made for you, Mike.. and the one of Kim... well, she is quite beautiful in it.. it is one of my faves too! :)

As for me... all my friends are somewhat new, since I've only just become an active poster since April, upon returning from my Lenten break. I had registered in late Jan. but didn't really post often until after Easter.

I have recently become a bit closer to Kimberlee, which has been great. :D
And Kyle too, is a recent add the old friends list, he's really awesome, like a big bro... figuratively, of course. ;)

And meeting Mike was a true blessing, I just can't remember an exact time of becoming friends, I think we just kind of got along immediately.

I remember the exact date I met Brad... he had sent me a PM to ask what my name was.. and the rest is history. :D And soon after that, I was "introduced" to Tara and Janice through Brad, who have become great friends to me as well.

And now I find myself thinking of the others, Monika, Mickey, Ramona... trust me, the list goes on and on, I wouldn't have enough time to list ya'll. ;)
