Have any of you ever tried posting here at S.O. while you were drunk?? I've done it a few times, including today, and I must say, it's quite an enjoyable experience. :lol: Can't really say that I'm drunk right now, it's more that I'm buzzed, and I just find that it's easier to think of stuff to talk about, and it makes me feel more free to be your total self, without going over the line. So my point is, the next time you're buzzed, try posting on S.O., it's actually quite fun. Just make sure you're not smashed, and can write an articulate sentance. If you're not, PLEASE DON'T POST. lol!! Anyway, this is just an observation I made that I thought I'd share

Yes, a couple of times. I was at a friend's house, using his computer, and we were drinking.

I have once I think and I think I did start posting some wierd stuff. Nobody knew at the time, and I think they thought I was just in a goofy mood that night.

I remember when I first came here there was some 17 yr old moron from Long Island who used to get on and post ONLY when he was drunk and who made no sense at all. All he could talk about was how trashing he got, how much he puked and then drank more afterward, etc..

I agree, tipsy is fun, slobbering drunk - best to just go to bed and sleep it off! :lol:

I have, many times. I can't remember the last time I did so, though. I'm usually more brutal [in honesty, that is] when I post while drunk. But I'm not too far gone then and can still form coherent sentences. :lol:

You joined in 2003, so he would have been 16 then. :lol: And yeah, he got pretty damn trashed... I remember that all too well. He has done a complete 180, though. Nothing at all like he was at 16. He's a lot of fun to talk to now. :)

I liked Tim alot, he was a really good guy. I'll never forget when my dog Salem was put to sleep, and Tim was immediately there for me with the sweetest pm, giving me his sympathies. I'll NEVER forget that!! I miss that guy. He was one of my friends on MySpace, but I think he took my name off his list during my one year hiatus from the online world. I truly miss him, and wish him the best in everything!!!

You know it's funny, I'm not a big time drinker by any means, but in the many years that I have partaken in alcoholic beverages, I've never gotten sloppy drunk. In all honesty, people can't even tell when I've been drinking. A couple years ago I was having a rough day or something, and so I had ten shots of Gin, along with three beers. Amazingly, I barely had a buzz. The other day I did five shots of vodka, and two hours later I told my mom, and she was like, are you serious?? You seem the same as always. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, I just have a very high tolerance for alcohol. Anyway, happy drinking to you my friend!! And btw, I got your drink over at Facebook, and appreciated it. ;) :cheers:

I don't drink so...weeee. If I'm hyper I might as well be drunk, though, the way I act. So I guess you could say I have in a way...like threads I post that many people don't understand and just ignore anyway, for example. never been drunk, though i remember posting this thread (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=122642) during a bad episode of light headedness (medication side effect). i didn't remember posting it when i saw it later. my explanation of it in the second reply kind of makes me miss those medications, lol. the side effects were pretty trippy.

I've posted a couple of times with a mild buzz, like one beer, but never totally drunk--which is a rarity these days. If I did post in that condition, I'd be afraid the next day to see what I wrote. :lol:

Now that Brad's started this, I wouldn't mind getting on some night a little looped. Hey - I got an idea, we should set aside a Saturday night coming up for those of age who'd like to participate. We all enjoy a couple (whatever that might be - beer, wine, cocktail) and start a thread. Could make for some really interesting observations! LOL

Yaaaaaay, drunk Day on S.O., that sounds good to me. :lol: It can become a yearly thing, and be like S.O.'s verson of Christmas, but for adults of course. lol!! I LOVE the idea. I actually think I'm a better poster while drunk in all honesty. I'm always myself here, but getting a buzz helps me to not be afraid to get a little more wild. Anyway, now we just need a date. You're right Jude, I do need to be careful, and not go overboard, thanks bro!!! :) Like I said in the feel good thread though, I only had four shots of vodka, and it actually helped relax me greatly. I'm very conscious of my health now though. I haven't had a soda in over a week, and have only had two cups of coffee in that time. I've also been sleeping 8 hours almost everynight, and walk six miles each morning. :D I'm definitely not gonna go back to my old ways Jude, I can promise you that!! Thanks again for your concern, it touches me greatly! You're a great guy!!! :wave:

I haven't been drunk in a very long time, so no... I've never posted drunk. I might end up posting something I'd regret!!!

I think I did end up drinking a little too much yesterday. While drinking doesn't have much of an effect on me mentally, it does effect me physically, making me real tired. I fell asleep around midnight last night, and ended up waking up today around 5:00 pm. lol! On a good note though, atleast I slept through the hangover. :lol:

Yeah, many times! lol. I make sure that I don't go on when I'm completely wasted (most of the time I probably couldn't even figure out where the computer is) but sometimes when I'm at a friends house or after I'v come home and still am a little buzzed. I make sure not to totally embarrass myself or to get into it w/ any members.
