SANTAQUIN, Utah – Police say the wife of actor Gary Coleman was booked into jail after an argument at the couple's Utah County home.

Shannon Price was arrested Wednesday and held for about two hours before posting $1,205 bail. Utah County Jail records show the 23-year-old Price was booked for investigation of domestic violence, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. It's unclear whether Price has an attorney.

An arrest affidavit says police were called to the home after Price allegedly locked Coleman out during an argument and was yelling obscenities out the window, had thrown items around the home and upended furniture.

There is no indication that the 41-year-old Coleman, best known for his stint on "Diff'rent Strokes," was injured.

Why are you making light of this? Domestic violence is a very serious thing! I'm sure if it were the other way around you'd say stuff like, "Gary is a BASTARD!", or "Gary is going to HELL!". But the wife beats the husband and it's all a big joke to you? Sick!

The Colemans have been having problems pretty much from the start. Didn't they even go on Divorce Court??

They appeared on there. You can get as much counseling as you want but if you don't put forth effort in changing yourself then you will have more problems.

Gary has really gone downhill since his "Different Strokes" days. Sad to see that his wife has a temper problem as well. I don't know anything about her, but it was surprising to hear that she was arrested and not Gary, given his past history.

Generally, as a person who is opposed to relationships with a 23-year age disparity (the disparity between gary Coleman and Shannon is only 17 years). I don't think any former child star should resort to May-December relationships at all. Shannon Price was born before the 8th and final season of Diff'rent Strokes began. Infants shouldn't even be watching television or film just to see their future spouses.

I'm sure that when Shannon was an infant her parents plopped her down in front of the tv to watch Diff'rent Strokes. :rolleyes: She was probably like all other infants at that time, eating, crying, sleeping, pooping and spitting up. :lol:
