I will say they choose the right actors to play Michael but for the other Jackson brothers they just walked in a supermarket and asked shoppers-"do you want to star in a movie?-lol

Like Monika said, ABC is going to start a couple of specials, starting at 9PM that'll cover his life-from early age and on.
MTV was playing his music videos all day. Now they're showing America's Best Dance Crew with the episode where the groups did a tribute to Thriller. They'll probably be showing a lot of other tributes to Michael throughout the weekend.

FOX is rerunning the Top 13 (Michael Jackson night) episode of American Idol 8 on Monday night.

Oh, I thought you meant The Wiz. The American Dream is interesting because you have Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs (aka Boom Boom Washington from WBK) and Angela Bassett as the parents. Billy Dee Williams is Berry Gordy, Holly Robinson is Diana Ross and Vanessa Williams is Suzanne de Passe. Also, I think Jermaine Jackson's oldest boy played Jermaine as a teenager. Wasn't Bumper Robinson cast as one of the other brothers?

Well, I'm older than her but never really got into his music or anything.

No, but I have seen the DVDs - plus imdb has the episodes available as well. :D Thanks for the comment on the avatar - I always go with Bewitched themed ones but decided to break tradition in tribute to Farrah.

That's sweet. :) They showed 'The Burning Bed' last night on one of the movie channels (Encore or something like that). I meant to watch, but I'm squeemish when I see an abused woman so I skipped it.
