yes i saw that featured on aol and it was hilarious. i don't think we ever took one family photo, i mean we took casual ones but not at a professional portrait studio. i had always wished we did though. my sister has a real bad photo of me she holds as ransom lol. its when i shaved my head ala britney spears when i was 19.

here's a geeky looking one :lol: i should submit it. theres so many fashion disasters going on in this picture at once. we got my dad looking like a serial killer out of central casting; my mom in the loud bedazzled sweater; i'm the quintessential nerd who's rocking thick plastic framed glasses and braces and my sis with faded bleached out jeans and bohemain hairdo.

Well, the shirt is very mid-90's. When I was in high school, girls wore shirts like that all the time. There is a picture around here with Monika wearing a shirt just like that.

It's true... when I first saw the picture, I actually thought it was Kim, then I read that it was her Mom... how incredible! You were so cute as a kid, Kim!... and of course incredibly lovely now. :)

I saw a link to this site on another forum. I spent almost an hour laughing at the pictures.

thank you marvin and mattie for saying so. i don't really see it but everyone says i do. especially my aunt (my moms sister). she says I have her eyes, and am built physically like her. i think we also have the same personality and we like a lot of the same things. she was very witty and a raconteur like me. she didn't have any confidence nor do i, but i think the difference is my mother let that eat at her where as i have a self deprecating humor about it that lets me carry on. i was picked on horribly at school and would get so upset about it, but i grew a thick skin quickly and would turn the tables on my tormenters by calling my own flaws out before they could, i'd beat them to it.

i think the most popularity i've had in my life is on this board lol. i am very reserved and shy so that was one reason i was unpopular, another reason was i did not participate in many school activities that would let me socialize with my peers as i had to come home right after school to take care of my mother.
