Having Rambis coach the team "regularly" on the road doesn't mean that Jackson would never travel with the team. He never mentioned a specific number of games.

As a Laker fan, I'm not crazy about the idea myself, but it's Jackson's and Buss' decision.

Geez, sounds like Kobe is lobbying for Mike Krzyzewski to coach the Lakers... if he liked Coach K that much, maybe he should have gone to college... I'm sure Coach K would have loved to have Kobe attend Duke. And Kobe would have liked the parties there, complete with strippers and everything!!

He only has a year left so why not just coach this last season and try for number 11 and then retire?-lol I heard that Phil is no longer consdering this
