Did the producers intentionally put her in ugh outfits or what?! Yeah, I liked this show, but I can't help but cringe whenever I see those clothes.

It was like the early nineties and at the time, they were really cool. I remember seeing an interview with Melissa and she said that she was pretty proud to be able to pick out most of her clothes. I wonder if she remembers saying that though...

I think that her clothing was what made Clarissa a unique indiviudal. Her wild and crazy outfits fit her personality perfectly. Her style was reflected in her clothing, bedroom, etc. I think it would have been a totally different show if her style had been any different. Besides, her clothing was better than when she dressed up as Jade, the girl with who wore black and had a nose ring (remember that episode?).

I loved Clarissa's clothes! I even tried to copy her style:) I admired the fact that Clarissa was so set on being an individual and seemed unconcerned with what other people thought of her.

I just LOVE her clothes. I have always wanted to be like Clarissa. I even have Christams tree lights around my bedroom windows just like Clarissa has!! This show rocks!! Crystal :wave:
