Betty White really wanted to do a hilarious nude scene, like Oscar Nunez, Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock did in the new romantic comedy "The Proposal."

"I begged to ... have them let me do a nude scene, but they wouldn't, they just wouldn't," Betty revealed. "I said, 'Well, it's a comedy and I'll get laughs, I guarantee it!' "

She talks to Elizabeth Snead about making the film, how long it took to film Oscar's never-ending stripper scene, her character Grandma Annie and Annie's relationship with Sandra's character, Margaret.

I dunno. Betty White nude? Not something I'd want to see but then I'm not big on nudity in movies in general. Not that I'm a prude but usually the nudity is gimmicky. Betty should just do what she wants to do and if someone doesn't like it they don't have to watch.

Sandra isn't nude in the movie. I don't think you see anything. You've seen the trailers on TV of her almost nude with her and Ryan Reynolds each caught off guard, and that's all you'll see.

I agree. I don't want to see Betty naked, but it would be hilarious as all hell.

As open as I am to older people being considered beautiful, it seems like after a certain age the human body just isn't something most people want to see unclothed. I think at age 87, the only reason for Ms. White to be nude would be for comic effect, and I have more respect for her than to wish people to laugh at her that way.

I have to say though, that as a younger woman, she seems to have been quite well constructed. :)
