I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and I remember a local talk show circa 1987
featuring a female stand up comic named "Pudgy". Her routine was hysterically funny. They featured her a few times, and I never saw her again. To add insult to injury, nobody I talk to seems to remember her, and I cannot find anything about her online (biography and/or career wise). :confused:

For some reason, I vaguely recall someone of that name hosting a Showtime special and I want to say it had male exotic dancers...?? Does that sound possible? Also, was Pudgy a 40ish woman with curly brown hair?

Yes! Your physical description of her matches my vague memory of her. I don't recall the Showtime special, but I remember seeing her on talk shows quite frequently (during the late 1980's). I wonder whatever happened to her? Why can't anything be found about her online? :confused:
