I concur your feelings.

It's important to keep in mind that this case is radically different from the Baskin case.

Primarily in that the Baskin case was a parental abduction (even though it was grandparents the motive was similar to parental abduction). There was a reason for the abductor to keep the children alive and once they got to adulthood they would be capable of living their own lives.

Also it was 4 together that the authorities were looking for rather than one person in Amy's case.

I actually always thought the Baskin case would be solved based on those parameters.

Amy Billig's case is unique in that the whole biker gang abduction theory may be completely wrong. Amy Billig may have been murdered by a rapist or stalker.

If Amy is alive, I'm not suprised that she hasn't been found yet.

1. I think there is a good possibility that Amy could be in jail somewhere under a different name.
2. Much like the Baskins, Amy may not want to be found. She may have adaptd to her new life.
3. Amy may alse be living a life of crime, which would prompt her to avoid be indentified.

I often wonder why the cops didnt press that biker more for the information, he obviously knew something. I would have taken a gun to his head if I were the mother and forced him to tell me where my daughter is
