I saw that one too. It was a boy that was kidnapped by another boy while the kidnapper's parent(s) were out of town. Then kidnapper broke the poor boy's legs and kept stomping on them for days. He killed two boys before after doing this and bragged to the new victim about it. I forget the details though. I think they were from Virginia or Pennsylvania, maybe? I'll look for more info and tell you what I find.

There was another episode of Escaped about the girl that escaped the clutches of David Parker Ray and his girlfriend and another episode about this Russian or Ukranian girl that was forced into prostitution and escaped. All 3 of those episodes sent chills down my spine.

I found it. It's called Torture In Suburbia, season 1 episode 3 of Escaped on Investigation Discovery. The victim's name is Thad Phillips (13 years old at the time of the abduction/torture) and the kidnapper is Joe Clark (who was 17 at the time). They were from Wisconsin.

Here are some pages on it:

I think I saw that episode a few years ago. The kidnapper had this sick fascination of hearing the sound of bones cracking. The kidnapper had broke Thad Phillips' ankles too. The part that also struck familiar with me was Thad dragging himself down the stairs to get to the phone. That poor kid! There are some really sick people out there!

I saw Thad's story on Dateline I think it was. It was a long time ago, but, this is something you do not forget. Poor boy. I know his physical wounds have heeled over time,I just hope the emotional ones have too.

This case was featured on Cold Case Files as well.
