Reese Witherspoon has drawn a line when it comes to nudity on screen. The 'Walk the Line' actress cites her two children as the reason she steers clear of the raunchy roles.

"I've always been choosing roles knowing that I have a daughter and I have a responsibility to her and to the world to be representing women of strength," the 33-year-old Oscar winner told FOXNews.com. "These are the women I know in life. I think it's a natural extension of parenthood for you to feel like you’re responsible for the worlds you create, whether they be silly or serious. I think you are responsible for the art you put in the world."
Even so, her children, 9-year-old daughter Ava & 6-year-old-son Deacon, are surprisingly "embarrassed" of their famous mom. But lately she's been finding the benefits of taking on more kid-friendly roles, like her latest in 'Monsters vs. Aliens.'

"My children are embarrassed at me all the time. They're like 'mom you're being really stupid',"Witherspoon said. "When ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ came out Ava told me I'm the coolest mom in the third grade. I said ‘can you put it on a piece of paper and sign it for me please’. I was cool once."

This is why I love Reece Witherspoon. She's so down to earth and it's nice that she cares enough for her kids to pass up 'raunchy' roles. I may not like all of her movies, but She's a class-act in my book!!!

Agreed. "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both." (Dwight Eisenhower)

That is a great quote Jeff. It's too bad so many people in our world today are getting it wrong and valuing privileges above principles. Kudos to Reese Witherspoon for getting it right.

I was passing a church today and they had that quote out on their billboard and it kind of stuck with me. When I read about Reese's decision it seemed so appropriate.
