how come abc puts the commercials at random time in the episodes?

like it showing the one right now where little richard plays at the smash club and it on the part where stephanie and michelle are dancing on stage then it goes to a commercial then when it comes back on it goes to the same scene but like why cant they wait till like the scene over to go to a commercial instead of putting them like randomly in the episodes

OMG, I hate that! I have all the seasons on DVD except Season 8 and I was just amazed at how much the TV stations cut out to make time for commercials! Just terrible! But then again, I'd much rather watch the uncut version on DVD anyway.
