I remember many years ago I saw a Britcom on PBS late night called "The Goodies" and even though I didn't get it at the time, since I was a kid, it did stick in recesses of my mind. Flash forward to the present, I started seeing "The Goodies" on You Tube. I never laughed so hard and so loud in the longest time. I just wish it was available on cable or DVD in the states.

For those who may not know what I'm talking about, "The Goodies" were three men who did anything, anytime: Tim Brooke-Taylor, the royalist; Graeme Garden, the mad scientist, and Bill Oddie, the anarchist. The whole series involved surreal madcap slapstick of adventures, including satires and parodies. The best way to describe "The Goodies" to my fellow Americans is think a cross between The Three Stooges and The Monkees, but with less music and tamer violence.

I've got the complete Goodies in chronological order as avi/divx files on 4 discs. All 74 episodes plus the 2005 reunion.

I've got a feeling that Time-Life and public stations that bought GOODIES from them expected it to do what Monty Python did, and when it apparently didn't, the simply declined to buy any more episodes past the 1975 ones(It lasted until 1981 in the UK).
