Just like when the second season premiered 22 years later after the conclusion of the first season, we now get that second season on DVD after a long 5 year wait! Warner Home Video is finally giving us another DVD release after 5 long years. Originally, the series returned to the air in 1985 in first-run syndication. The series started as a primetime series in 1962-63 on ABC but was canceled after 24 episodes. The show was never off the air though in those 22 years between, as the show drew a big following in reruns, especially on Saturday mornings. Warner Home Video gives us the first 21 episodes of the second season in this Season 2, Volume 1 release.

The original voices all return for this second season, even after a 22 year hiatus. George O’Hanlon stars as the voice of George Jetson, Penny Singleton as the voice of Jane Jetson, Janet Waldo as the voice of Judy Jetson, Daws Butler as the voice of Elroy Jetson, Don Messick as the voice of Astro the Dog, Jean Vander Pyl as the voice of Rosie the Robot, and Mel Blanc as the voice of Mr. Spacely.
