He's one of my favorite country singers. I was at his concert last Saturday. It was a lot of fun. He has so many great songs and he is just an amazing person.
Here's to 57 more #1 songs, George!

My mom likes him. I don't really like too many male country singers.

I do enjoy his duet with Lee Ann Womack, "Everything But Quits." Their voices compliment each other nicely.

The single-best country artist to come along in nearly 30 years, Nobody else is even close although there are a lot of talented ones out there.

one thing about him is that just when you think his best days are behind him and hes ready for the fair and lounge circut he come up with another hit song and rises to the top again and again

There are many singers that unfortunately have to tour the fairs and lounge circuits because dumbasses like clear channel and the goons that operate their radio stations refuse to play them anymore. George Strait's career may come to that one day but he's been on the charts consistently since his debut with 1982's "Unwound" so I don't see him being tossed to the curb anytime soon.

He's so massive that I can't ever see that happening to him. I think he'll be playing arenas and large amphitheaters until he decides to retire.
