Here are songs that I am SICK of, yet, I always listen to them. For some reason, I just can't seem to change the channel.....:)
1. Human Nature By The Human League. I am sick of this song, but the song still draws me in and I listen to it from start to finish. It's haunting and chilling. I've called this my favorite song of ALL time. Now, I like other songs better than this song, but this song used to be my favorite....:D
2. Major Tom by Peter Schilling. I am sick of this song too, but still listen to it. It's slightly haunting.....

I love this song and it's from 1983 which is my favorite year for music videos. It's one that I never get tired of hearing unlike that retched "I Ran" (So Far Away) by A Flock of Seagulls who happen to be one of my favorite 80's bands but this is the only song you ever hear by them at least on the radio. You rarely (if ever) hear "Space Age Love Song", "Wishing" (If I Had a Photograph of You), "Nightmares", "The More You Live the More You Love" etc... and all those were a lot better than "I Ran" (So Far Away)
Two songs that have been played to death on one station I listen to on weekends are "Life in the Fast Lane" by Eagles and Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." I have always despised "Life in the Fast Lane" but I think "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is one of Elton's finest. The only problem is that this particular station seem to think it's the only song he ever recorded. I did hear "Levon" , "Philadelphia Freedom" & "Candle in the Wind" once each since I started listening to them several months ago but more often than not, it's GYBR. This station is also one that I cannot receive from where I live so I'm unable to listen during the week. In all fairness to them , It's possible that they play his other material during those times.
