I sure have in the past week or so. Of the ratio of responding to other people's threads as opposed to staring my own, I'm sure it's probably way slanted towards responding as I rarely post my own new original thread. To me, it becomes really hard to post an original thread about something that hasn't already been done. Even this past week, I found I couldn't really come up with a decent response to post to the other threads. Of course, I had a somewhat busy week last week and didn't have too much time to do so, anyway.

For me personally, when I post, whether responding or starting my own thread, I like it to be meaningful rather than two or three words and that's it just to bump up my post count. I like my posts to be deeper because I feel that's where I can build and grow friendships the best, as I have seen the closeness of the friendships on this board. It's one of the main reasons I became a member here. :D

I often find it hard to think of original threads - not that there's anything wrong with repeating discussions after a certain amount of time has elapsed. But there are so many people here with interesting things to say that I usually find that things I would consider posting are already being discussed.

I've had this problem many times!!! I write a lot of fan fiction and other stories just for fun and writer's block seems to come with the territory! Seems I either have writer's block or I have so many ideas in my head, I can hardly get them on paper fast enough!

I actually brought this up in a thread recently, and the answer is YES, all the time. I just had one of my worse cases of S.O. writers block a couple months back. That thing lasted over a month. As I mentioned in the other thread, when it gets too bad, I just try to find some inspiration to spark something in me, hoping that maybe something I observe will cause me to come up with something original. But yeah, writer's block sucks!!!

I haven't been able to come up with any original thread material in a while.
I've been so busy with the job I've been on the last several months, most of the time I don't have the energy or desire to comeup with anything other than an occasional one liner.

One liners are still fun and challenging, but they're quick. I really haven't had any time to sit down and write for quite a while.

I haven't been able to come up with good threads in awhile.
