I click on Facebook, and my homepage takes several minutes to appear.
I click on a friend's page, again, several minutes to load.

Is anyone else having this problem today?

I've been having problems with it for a couple of days now. I tried to upload a new profile pic and it took FOREVER. Then, it would appear in comments, but not in the actual profile pic. Just blank with that X blox thingy.

I hope they get it fixed soon. grrrr!!

No problems with it today cause I didn't check it, but the last few days I've had the same problem as you. Sucks but I hope it's fixed/working now.

I've been having problems for a couple of days now. I thought it was just me because none of my friends have had a problem.

I was on Facebook before I came here and I had no problems.

Still having trouble with Facebook. It was okay this morning but now I'm getting a lot of "Internet Explorer Cannot Display This Page" stuff.

Same thing with Sitcoms Online. It took me a few tries to get on here today.

Why does the web do that?

I've been having more problems lately trying to get on SO than Facebook. I was having problems getting photos to upload on Facebook today, however.

^ That's the EXACT message I was getting. I've been getting it periodically on other sites (this one included) the last couple of months.

Now my pc is a dinosaur, but it's not that. I've asked and all people can figure is that it's a bottleneck on the hubs our computers are connected to. (i.e. the hubs that go into the Facebook server). Maybe Roby can explain more, but from what I can put together, it's our internet providers that need to upgrade their stuff to handle the traffic.

To make matters worse for me, my Outlook keeps maxing out and I can't archive the folders properly so I'm having to manually delete basically thousands of old messages in order to clean it up so it can run again.
