Has anyone ever heard of this? I was watching a really cool documentary series on PBS called "Make Em Laugh". Jerry wasn't in the episode that I saw but basically it was different comedians/comic actors/critics, etc discussing their favorite comedians/comic actors. The one I saw featured Laurel and Hardy, Three Stooges, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, etc.

Anyway when it was over they showed a list of sponsors and one was called The Seinfeld Family Foundation. I was curious... (Must have been the name! ;) ), so I did a Google search on it.

According to this
http://www.pencil.org/index.asp?CID=3&PID=152,
Jerry Seinfeld and his family set up a scholarship program for students. I don't know all the details but it should be there in the article. I thought that was pretty cool, though! I'll have to do some more research on it.

Andrea

PS: I highly recommend watching this Make Em Laugh series if you can find it. Oh and in this link there is a segment by George Shapiro on the ending of Seinfeld (at least it was there as of this posting! Lots of funny online stuff to watch!

I never heard of the Seinfeld Family Foundation.

It's great that show featured Richard Pryor----one of the all-time greats.
