Couple great Sites to recommend to everyone here.
The first is:

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/index.php

and the second is:

http://www.officialcoldcaseinvestigations.com/index.php

Both of these sites feature a wide array of cases, alot of old,and well known cases, and some brand new ones too.The common thread is that they both need and want input from users, and amateur sleuths.

Many of the cases profiled on UM are on these sites as well, and some of the great users on this board, are members there as well.

Give em a looksee!

I've been perusing Websleuths and so far I really like it. Never seen the second one though. I will definitely check it out. Thanks.

I'm kind of miffed. I have tried registering at both sites and both tell me my email address has been blocked by administration. I emailed the admin at websleuths but haven't heard back yet. I tried several different emails. This is BS, I've never tried to join these sites before.

Also, I found an unidentified body that was buried in 1982 in my hometown...creepy. Can't wait to be able to comment on that one!

Yeah, Websleuths is kinda tricky about that. They don't accept "free" email accounts for registration, they want you to provide an email address linked with your ISP provider. I managed to get registered after exchanging emails with an admin, though.

They are pretty good about getting back to you usually

I pick this one, just for fun:

I seem to be making a lot of posts about composites today.

Hey hey! Yeah I'm loving porchlight. I'm still a newbie at making matches but it makes me feel like I'm making a positive difference, and everyone has been so helpful and has lots of good advice!

I'm so happy to hear that! We need more eyes searching.
Every pair of eyes searching is another beacon of hope for the lost!

Heres a good Zodiac site:
If you like the Zodiac topic, come over to: http://zodiaczee.50.forumer.com/index.php

We work as a "team" to unlock motivations, background, and eventually the ID of Zodiac. Feel free to talk about theories or suspects, without fear of getting banned. The only rule,is be courteous and respectful of other members, even if you dont agree with them.

I have been checking out websleuths for the past year. I will try using my ISP email to make an account there. The other site looks very interesting.
