Shows I enjoyed but didn't watch too often:
Bones, Southland, Nip/Tuck, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Samantha Who?, American Idol.

1. The Big Bang Theory - this easily takes the spot because of its huge jump in quality and ratings this year. This show became a hit this season, for obvious reasons of course :D

2. Medium - another stellar season of a great show. I was entertained in every episode, every Monday, and only wish we could have gotten more of it.

3. Celebrity Apprentice - this was a great season of this longrunning reality show. So many great and hilarious moments. I don't remember laughing so hard before in my life.

4. The Mentalist - finally, television has found a new hit show. It's easily CBS' best procedural, mixing elements of crime, comedy, and charm.

5. Survivor: Tocantins - I hadn't watched Survivor in a year or two, but I decided to watch it this time, and I was entertained the entire time. This really had me going back to the early years of Survivor, and was one of the best editions we had gotten in a long time.

6. American Idol - another good season. It started out slow, but as favorites emerged, it got better, and I was sucked in by the top 10.

7. Old Christine - after 4 seasons, this still remains one of my favorite shows. It's just an easy-to-watch show, and will never fail to make you laugh. It's simple, yet it's entertaining.

8. Hell's Kitchen - another great season of the show this winter. Some of the best contestants we've gotten on the show yet, with a lot of comedy and excitement.

9. Harper's Island - If you're looking for a good mystery, this show will do it. It's good, eerie, and oddly entertaining. Unfortunately, it's ratings were bad, and it was bannished to Saturdays. I still enjoy watching it either way.

10. Worst Week - I've come to enjoy this show since it premiered. I really wasn't a fan at first, but by week 10 or so I was finding myself really liking it, and looking forward to it to come on. But, it wasn't the best show, and viewers clearly saw through it.

To be honest, I can't think of ten shows that would even make my list this season. Here are the ones I've got though:

1) Surviving Suburbia
From the first night it aired, I fell in love with this show! The writing is great and the cast is one of the best over all that I've seen in years! :)

2) Dancing with the Stars
I love this every season, but the competition was so close this time! Having such talent in their cast made the season even more entertaining than usual. Also, I give them extra points for letting all three judges do the Master Class this season, instead of just one. I'm a big fan of the trio and enjoyed seeing them get more involved.

3) According To Jim
This usually takes first place with me, but Season 8 has been disappointing. The writing isn't as good as it used to be and with Billi Bruno and Kimberly Williams-Paisley both gone, the show just doesn't feel the same anymore. I'm still a fan, of course, and I always will be, but.... this wasn't the final season that I was hoping for. :(

4) Brothers & Sisters
This season was pretty good, I thought. I've liked the show since the beginning and it always holds my interest. This season was no exception. Very nicely done.

5) Gary Unmarried
This show gets better and better every time I see it. Although not a favorite yet, it very well could be. Their first season has been really good.
