I wish I could go

I went ... and had a ball!!!! I've written the whole thing up and posted it on our website, along with some photos...links below.

Bill was looking good - 81 years old (he'll be 82 at the end of August) - a few age spots - but he still has the urge to get up and walk. He still has a lot of energy for a man of his years. When he figured out who I was (he calls me the president of his unofficial fan club), I got a big hug and a kiss. (Which makes my husband absolutely laugh!) I brought him some little gifts ... chocolate and donuts, both of which he loves. I was also able to meet both his son Patrick and his daughter-in-law, just before I left for the day.
