I am unsure what the names of the perpetrator and victim were, but I can describe the episode.
It was about a man and a woman who married because I think it was their church father that said god wanted them to marry so they did. Then later the man supposedly killed the woman for life insurance money. Does this episode sound familiar to anyone?

Zack, it sounds very vaguely familiar. Do you have any other info that might jog my memory or give more clues?
Yesterday, I went to the FF website and tried to look for their episode guide to see if that would help, but that part of the site has never worked for me, and in fact, every time I try to use their site, my computer freezes up.

They also let you watch some eppies, but I don't think the one you're looking for is part of their limited online viewing collection.
They do have a Forensic Files message board that has recent activity. Maybe you can ask those folks which eppy it is that you're trying to find.

I presume you are referring to Matthew Mirabal. Mirabal murdered his wife in Longmont, Colorado in September 1999. She was decapitated. Troy Hancock encouraged Matthew Mirabal to marry Natalie Vasquez. Matthew Mirabal was motivated by greed and an affair with his sister-in-law.
The crime can be found below:

I remember that case, in part because of Matthew's affair with his sister-in-law. Also, Matthew was blind in his right eye. The name of the FF episode is "Unholy Alliance."
