View Full Version : Orlando is going to the NBA FINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TVFactFan 05-22-2009, 11:35 PM They are a lucky ass Three Pointer from being up 2-0 and lose 96-95. Orlando is the better team and proved it tonight and will blow out Cleveland in both games in Orlando.
No Orlando fan should feel upset tonight because your team is going to the Finals. This win will come back to haunt Cleveland
Marvo301 05-22-2009, 11:40 PM Hey Solomon, it sounds to me like you believe in magic! (or at least the Magic!)
TVFactFan 05-22-2009, 11:43 PM Hey Solomon, it sounds to me like you believe in magic! (or at least the Magic!)
They will win this series in 5 or 6 games

I'm marking this one down. I will remember this one forever if Orlando loses the series.
BTW, "no Orlando fan should feel upset?"
Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Ask Blazer fans if they felt upset when Sean Elliott made his miracle shot in 1999.
Ask Kings fans if they felt the same way when Robert Horry made his three-pointer in 2002.
When you are on the opposite end of a finish like that, it can be DEMORALIZING.

Aren't you the same guy who a week or two ago was proclaiming Lebron the greatest basketball player in the universe who was going to win the first of many rings this year? Your contradicting your own prediction!

He is his team is just not all that great,

If I was a Orlando Fan I would be smiling from ear to ear tonight, AFTER A LOSS. They are the better team
Marvo301 05-22-2009, 11:59 PM He is his team is just not all that great,
You make a good point. Even a great player needs a good supporting cast.
Big C 05-23-2009, 12:01 AM If I was a Orlando Fan I would be smiling from ear to ear tonight, AFTER A LOSS.
Bull!
If I was a Magic fan, I'd be devastated.
When you let a golden opportunity slip through your fingers, there is NOTHING good about that.
Big C 05-23-2009, 12:04 AM This "better team" nonsense is ridiculous.
What matters is the game's outcome.
Let's say the Lakers lose game 3 on a last-second three by Carmelo Anthony. Do you think littlebelle- a Lakers fan- would say, "Well, we lost, but we're still better?"
No- she'd be upset.
When your team loses in that fashion, it is heartbreaking.

Stan Van Gundy will be fired if they lose this series

This Cavs win is really not a win if you know what I mean. If you don't I will explain it on Sunday.

Are you saying it's good for a team to lose?
TVFactFan 05-23-2009, 12:23 AM Are you saying it's good for a team to lose?
It was a good loss for Orlando
Big C 05-23-2009, 12:44 AM It was a good loss for Orlando
No loss is a good loss.
What matters is the final outcome.
The Magic LOST- that is all that matters.
MrCleveland 05-23-2009, 09:14 AM The Series is a 1-1 split.
Besides, if Cleveland loses...it's going to take a VERY long time for us to recover.
GARFIELDKOOL 05-23-2009, 09:48 AM If I were a Cavs fan or the coach, I would be concerned about the big leads they are giving up. Like George Karl said the other night, you have to play 48 minutes of basketball.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves Solomon. we don't know who will be in the finals at this point. I remember a few weeks ago, you put Lebron and company on this pedestal. All of a sudden, they will not be in the finals.
isiahthomas 05-23-2009, 12:24 PM Ya'll have to ignore Solomon's comments because most of the time he says stupid stuff to get attention. But i do agree with him that Lebron's teammates aren't that good. I've been saying that for a long time and i've been dissed by a few Cavs fans. Maurice Williams is a good player but at times he shoots too many jumpshots. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is soft and he shoots too many jumpshots for a center. He acts like he's scared to take the ball to the basket. He doesn't block that many shots and he should block more than he does because of his height. The bench is weak. I do feel that Lebron scores too much because his teammates can't be counted on consistently to help him out with scoring. I saw some of the game last night and i was surprised that the Cavs won but it shouldn't have even come down to Lebron making a shot like that to win the game. I heard that the Cavs had a 20 something point lead and they couldn't hold the lead. I knew Orlando or Boston was gonna be a tough opponent for them because the Cavs haven't played any serious competition so far until now. Now ya'll see what i'm talking about from watching the first 2 games so far and you can see that Cleveland is struggling with Orlando. I wouldn't be surprised if Orlando wins the series.

I did but after seeing the first two games I see that Orlando has their number

The Cavs are going to get blown out in Game 3

They did NOT win the game.

Inside my APT they did maybe not to the rest of the world
Pavan 05-23-2009, 03:46 PM Solomon, you are very strange again. First you were saying LeBron is better than Michael Jordan. Now that he finally hit a memorable shot, you say Orlando is better?? HUH? Stop with the shifting of stories back and forth.
Orlando needed that game more than Cleveland. The momentum is over and Cleveland is taking this in 6. Cavs got their wake-up call, so watch out. Cavs meaning LeBron, since he is the team. Lakers are a better "team" than the Cavs.

Lebron is a great player and will have to continue to score over 30 in order for the Cabs to win because the Magic have a better team. The Magic have the advantage in every other position on the floor besides the position Lebron plays.
If a team wins by a buzzer beater, that means they stole the game
Big C 05-24-2009, 12:07 AM If a team wins by a buzzer beater, that means they stole the game
But it means they WON!
Only you can make a dramatic buzzer-beater seem insignificant.

Big C 05-24-2009, 12:50 AM A team winning by a buzzer beater is like a ugly guy getting laid because the girl was drunk
WRONG!
A team winning on a buzzer shot is like a guy salvaging a date that's not going well with a happy ending.

Yeah, he figured out a way to get her DRUNK and got to have that happy ending.
Big C 05-24-2009, 11:38 PM Orlando wins game 3.
They lead 2-1, BUT... it's not over.
(Just ask the Sixers)
Was it over when the Celtics trailed the Lakers 2-1 in the 1984 NBA Finals?
Was it over when the Pistons trailed Chicago 2-1 in the 1989 Eastern Conference Finals?
Was it over when the Bulls trailed the Knicks 2-1 in the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals?
Was it over when the 76ers trailed the Bucks 2-1 in the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals?
Was it over when the Nets trailed the Celtics 2-1 in the 2002 Eastern Conference Finals?
Was it over when the Lakers trailed the Kings 2-1 in the 2002 Western Conference Finals?
Was it over when the Pistons trailed the Heat 2-1 in the 2005 Eastern Conference Finals?
Was it over when the Heat trailed the Mavericks 2-1 in the 2006 NBA Finals?
Was it over when your Cavs trailed Detroit 2-1 in the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals?
Oh, and was it over when the 1995 Indians trailed the Mariners 2-1 in the ALCS?
Hell No!
Sol- you can talk about Orlando being a better team, but to say they're going to the NBA Finals after only two wins?
I live in Wisconsin- the Bucks took a 2-1 lead over the 76ers in the 2001 East Finals, and NOBODY prematurely said they were going to the Finals.
You can credit Orlando, but DO NOT declare premature victory.

I remember that Bucks series and was so pissed that they could not win Game 4 to go up 3-1. I knew once the 76ers won Game 4 it was over.
So if the Magic win on Tuesday they are going to the NBA Finals. If they don't win on Tuesday they are not going, real simple
MrCleveland 05-25-2009, 09:03 AM The Cavaliers are going to try and **** it up. Because They're a Cleveland Team!
MonarC 05-25-2009, 09:30 AM Go Cavs!!
MrCleveland 05-27-2009, 01:00 PM Go Cavs!!
Do you think they can make it after being 3-1?
isiahthomas 05-30-2009, 12:26 PM LOL@MrCleveland saying the Cavs are gonna lose the series because they're a Cleveland team hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. They're gonna lose tonight. Danny Ferry needs to make some changes after the season because Lebron isn't gonna win a championship with the teammates he has. Mike Brown is also a terrible coach with his goofy looking ass hahahahahahahaha. Why does the Cavs bench players have several guys in suits? I can't stand to see guys that don't play getting a paycheck for doing nothing LOL.

That's why I hope the Cavs can get that China deal, maybe then they can get a Chinese 3-point shooter. Maybe that tall basketball player over there.

I don't think the Cavs would want that Chinese player though. Look at Yao Ming, he can't even finish a season or the playoffs.
