Thanks joe!

I knew about the extras and anxious to see if the three radio episodes are ones I already have on mp3/cd. It is a good way for everyone else to sample what the radio show was like and to see how Bud on the radio show was a complete boob! And Betty was such an egotistical airhead....

I'm excited to get two more Window on Main Street episodes as well.

I got my copy today. I had to go to 2 different stores to find it but my local Best Buy had several copies. I was so happy to see it there on the shelf. Hoping we see Season 4 by year's end. It would be great for them to release it close to the holidays and put the holiday episode of "Window On Main Street" as a bonus feature. Would love to complete this series on dvd along with the reunion movies. Is Shout able to release those?

Got my set yesterday. Watched all of disc 1 last night.plus the Window On Main Street episode "A Doctor Comes to Town".I enjoyed that episode. That episode kind of reminded me of The Andy Griffith Show episode "A New Doctor In Town" they was about the same thing. The new doctor in Robert Young series was not getting any business because he use to be the bigest brat in town when he was a child.Meenwhile the new doctor that comes to Mayberry is not getting any business as the town people think hes to young to be a doctor.
Well anyways glad that I bought this set.And already cant wait for season 4 of Fathers Knows Best. Realy a great Golden Oldie TV series. Mutch better then the filth thats shown on TV today.

I'm tickled that in Season Three they included, not one but TWO episodes
of Robert Young's second sitcom, WINDOW ON MAIN STREET.
I'm hoping the Xmas episode will come out with Season Four.

I've started watching my set and enjoying the episodes immensely. My one small disappointment is that so far there are no sponsor openings. I don't know why the generic season one opening (kids laughing on stairs while Jim and Margaret prepare to kiss) is still being used if these are the uncut episodes. Last set at least had a few episodes with the kitchen door w/ the kids opening.

Oh poo on you, Joe! :p

so I like seeing different openings.....sue me. There is a 3rd season opening and it's not the kids laughing on the stairs. If everything else can be restored, why not the openings?

Nearly finished with season 3. This is such as a great show. And such a great season. A lot of the episodes I can relate to too. Such as the episode Carnival-boy have I been ripped off plenty of times at those game booths. And some of those people that run those game booths are down rite nasy. Now when ever I go to a fair or carnival I avoid those game booths.
Another episode that reminded me of some trips that I have took before was Trip to Hillsborough- Get excited about going to a new place. You read about it.You cant wait for the day to get there. Then the day comes, you go.Then when you get there you found it that its not as great as you thought it was going to be. Yep Bud I too have had plenty of trips like that.

I'm almost done watching Season 3 as well. I loved watching this season and I'll definitely be re-visiting these episodes in the future. I loved "Short Wave" and the episode where Colonel Wilde guest-stars. I hope Shout announces Season 4 before the end of the year. We're halfway there. :)
