I know not all the upfronts/announced final schedules are done, but so far, what cancellation shocks you the most? What renewal surprises you the most?

I'm shocked that ABC dumped Samantha Who? and that CBS may pull the plug on Without a Trace.

I'm surprised that Fox renewed Dollhouse and that ABC is bringing back Scrubs for another season.

My opinion may change after everything is finalized.

I wouldn't call it shocking, but the cancellation of the Sarah Conner Chronicles seems very asinine considering that Terminator Salvation is coming out this summer.

That's really too bad about Samantha Who?... and they're renewing Scrubs?? tsk, tsk

I think the most shocking would be "Without a Trace" though if that happens. On any other network, that would be a sure renewal with its ratings

Cancellation: Without a Trace

Samantha Who? is a close second however.

Renewal: Dollhouse... WTF, a measley 3 million viewers

Scrubs and Ted would be close second and thirds(Scrubs especially since it HAD A SERIES FINALE)

Scrubs has had about 3 series finales already-lol. Seems like every year since season 5, it was getting a series finale.

Very shocked and disappointed about WaT's cancellation. It was deserved by no means.

And for now, add Medium to the list. So far, this is the worst cancellation for me. It's bad enough it's only been on the air 3 months this season, but now NBC turns around and cancels it because they weren't getting enough twitters telling them to renew it? WTF?

I'm surprised at Without a Trace being cancelled as well, Medium maybe....I was iffy about its renewal.

Shocking would be Chuck. For a while, I really thought it would be over, but it at least has one more season :D

I hear CBS is picking up Medium and may place it after Ghost Whisperer.

So does this leave Flashpoint as a mid season replacement again?

CBS may pull the plug on Without a Trace.

ABC is bringing back Scrubs for another season.

Those are mine. And bringing back Better off Ted. I saw 5 minutes of that one night and it was the WORST 5 minutes of TV I have seen in a very long time.

Shocking Cancellations:

Samantha Who?---i really truly believed that ABC was going to support this EMMY WINNING series which started off with strong ratings initally until it was moved to Thursday nights. It was also a critically acclaimed show.

Without A Trace- i knew it was an expensive show but i figured CBS would save this critical darling that has earned multiple emmy nominations.

Medium and My Name Is Earl- NBC really seems to like to cancel the few shows they have that are working. Medium will be fine over at CBS and Earl will probrally head over to FOX or Comedy Central where it will fit in better anyway.

Shocking Renewals:

Better Off Ted: how does a show with ratings lower than half of what ABC airs get renewed over SW a show with better ratings (almost always a top 25 show), emmy-nominations and critical support? i guess we'll never know.

Scrubs: this really is the show that wouldn't die... it was supposed to end for like the last 4 seasons already...

90210: look at the ratings---how did this one get renewed? ditto for Gossip Girl.

Cold Case: i thought this one was a goner.

why are you surprised? Knight Rider was a disaster on every level for NBC. it was DESTROYED by critics, the ratings were among the lowest NBC has seen in years and frankly nobody watched it. it was a horrible, horrible show. NBC all but announced it's cancellation last fall.

This revival and the revival of Bionic Woman goes to show that NBC should never try to revive their old TV shows from the '70s and especially '80s.

Nothing's been the same since the damn writers strike and the stupid networks decision to keep moving shows or putting them on hiatus. Shame I liked Medium. That's the only shocking one for me, I had the feeling they'd dump Samantha Who instead of trying to pair it with Scrubs.
