Well 8 if you count Three's a Crowd era, but I was reading the Fall Prevew for 1979 and the episode description for the 9/11/79 episode-"jack on the lam" was

"The third season opens with Jack in Drag to fool the FBI-he thinks they finally caught up with him for deserting from the navy."


So I guess season 1 was not really a season and a trail period for the show? Or was this a typo by TV guide?-lol I took it as since season one was only 4 eps it was not considered the first season.
