The first thing that I would like to mention is how happy I am to have generated a response by bringing to the top of the page my old thread called "Seinfeld"! My guess would be that it is the fact that that was such a popular sereis that inspired someone to open the post. However, one thing that I have mentioned on various occasions is the fact that "Gimme a Break!" seemed to be very popular with the same generation of viewers as the "Facts of Life". But that show's page seems to be getting much more of a workout than this one. That is probably because that show had a longer life in prime-time and lasted longer in syndication. For a while, this page got a good number of posts by people wanting to see more seasons released on DVD. I certaintly fit into that catogory of people! Well, the "Facts of Life" page still gets a lot of bellyaching about that issue. One thing that they do a lot of is compare that show to shows like "Seinfeld" in which the whole sereis is available and that the reruns are on day and night. This reality seems to bother them a lot! Close behing "Seinfeld" in terms of shows that they complain about seeing are "Frasier" and "Friends". They also seem to have a stong dislike of the reality shows that also appear on dozens of channels day and night! Because this series is from the same time period as "Facts of Life", I would like to know what you guys think about the whole thing!
