it was cool seeing facts of life pop up on the screen though. very unexpected!

Well, I figured this would mean that this show is so well-loved and dearly missed that this Yahoo feature might lead to the rest of the series being released on DVD. Well....*sigh*....I couldn't be more wrong. I contacted someone from Sony and told them about the feature on Yahoo and that alot of people miss this show and would love to see it again. The snotty person on the other end of the phone says to me, "Sorry, but we're still not releasing the rest of the series on DVD. It's not popular enough." Then I got all over him about pulling episodes off the internet while shelling out the entire "Seinfeld" ("SWINEfeld", "SH**feld") series on DVD, as well as special "Seinfeld" editions and stuff while it's constantly being shown in reruns and he says to me, "People love 'Seinfeld', but they don't love 'Facts of 'Life." What I don't get is that "Golden Girls" is being shown alot on WE and Hallmark, and that's a classic all-female cast that doesn't feature skinny teens. Yet, "Facts of Life" is considered "so offensive" just because it's a show about teen girls who aren't the catty, skinny, superficial pieces of crap we see constantly on "One Tree Hill", "90210" and "The Hills" and all these crappy shows! I really can't stand Sony. They're a bunch of nasty a**holes!
